Beads of Courage

 

Our nurse came in today and introduced us to this awesome program called Beads of Courage. Every time Jillian has a procedure done; stays the night in the hospital, has a clinic visit and many other things, she is given a different color bead for each activity. It's such a cool little program for them, she gets to get rewarded with something fun after she's made to do something not so fun. She got a starter kit and we put together her first strand. She doesn't want to make any type of jewelry with it but wants to just string it. So we plan making long strings of beads to hang up in her room (I'm hoping its not too long though!) here's the beginning of her first strand!
